As part of the University’s Cybersecurity Strategic Plan and in compliance with the National Cybersecurity Authority’s controls, the General Administration of Cybersecurity conducted a comprehensive two-day initiative to assess and enhance cybersecurity readiness, targeting two key groups: technical teams and leadership.
The initiative comprised two complementary exercises. The first was an advanced technical cybersecurity simulation featuring ten scenarios that replicated the progression of cyberattacks from their initial stages through to containment. It aimed to assess the readiness of technical teams and strengthen their capabilities in an environment that closely reflected real-world conditions.
The second was a leadership simulation titled “Black Dawn,” consisting of six escalating phases. It focused on supporting decision-making and assessing leaders’ ability to manage cyber crises effectively under pressure, helping to strengthen business continuity and advance institutional maturity in responding to cyber threats.
